1. How to submit a request
Users may request deletion of their Education Portal account through the official email or WhatsApp channel.
- Provide your name, account email or ID, account type (Student, Teacher, School, or Foundation), and institution where relevant.
- The team may request proportionate identity and authorization checks to protect third-party data.
- Verified requests are processed subject to applicable legal and educational recordkeeping duties; the outcome is communicated to the requester.
2. Data covered by deletion
After verification and approval, account credentials and profiles, session or notification tokens, and related account information may be deleted or anonymized unless there is a lawful reason to retain them. Removing an Education Portal account does not delete the user’s personal Google account.
3. Information that may be retained
Some records may be kept for educational obligations, audits, security, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal requirements. Backups may persist until their scheduled rotation. Processing time depends on verification and the types of records involved.
4. School- or foundation-managed accounts
When an account was created by an institution, EDUVIA may need to coordinate with that school or foundation before deleting records affecting academic history or other users’ access.
5. Signing out without deleting an account
To switch accounts without deleting stored information, use Log Out in the portal. Signing out is different from deleting an account and its data.
6. Request safety
Do not share passwords, OTP codes, private keys, or full identity documents through chat. Provide only the minimum verification information requested via official channels.
